Hey,
I'm Faye!
I’ve been around horses my entire life, but none have been as special to me as Mare, my Missouri Foxtrotter. Sadly, she passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 37. I got her when she was 18, and age never dimmed her fiery spirit.
Mare was so much more than a horse. She was my confidence builder, my best friend, and my constant companion through countless trail rides, horse shows, and quiet moments just being together. She opened my world in ways I never expected—helping me grow, make lifelong friends, and touch the lives of others.
She was also the heartbeat of my creativity. Mare inspired countless drawings, paintings, and sketches over the years—and ultimately, she’s the reason I picked up a camera. I wanted to capture the beauty and spirit I saw in her every day. She wasn’t just a muse—she was the soul behind so much of my art.
How it started!
For the past couple years, I’ve been consistently capturing equine moments—and it’s been an incredibly rewarding journey. As a lifelong animal lover, I naturally started by photographing my own horses, then expanded to photographing horses belonging to friends and family. Whether it's candid barn moments or proud wins at horse shows and fairs, I love preserving the unique spirit of each horse and their connection with their people.
This passion has helped me grow not only as a photographer but also in confidence. With each session, my skills have deepened, and I’m excited to take the next step forward in sharing my work with a wider audience.
